ust now, I went to catch the movie, Shutter Island, with M. As usual, we queued to buy my popcorns. I have said this million times before, but I am going to say it again. AMK Hub Cathay sells the sweetest popcorns in Singapore. Really. You could totally see the bright, shiny little bobs smiling at you. Haha. Anyhow, when the staffs were processing my orders, a girl on my right caught my attention and she saw me looking at her. She was so beautiful I nudged M and asked him to take a look at her. As I turned my head towards M, I realized the girl shifted her gaze too. Then, I burst out laughing.

I was looking at my own reflection.

HAHAHA. This is a true story.

Shutter Island left me and m hanging in the air for a while. We had different interpretations of the ending scene but it was pretty good actually. I went, "Oooooooo..." when I heard M's point of view. Such movies are great because they drop implicit hints here and there, through clever dialoques, gestures and contextual scenes, and thus offering audiences the absolute freedom to judge what they think the ending is. That aside, I couldn't recognise Leonardo on first look, but he is still an awesome and very amazing actor.

On Tuesday, I caught How to Train Your Dragon. At many times during the movie, I couldn't help but to feel the odd similarities between HTTYD and Avatar. Think boy manages to ride on a hostile-turned-obedient-large-size-very-colourful-flying-animal-that-doesn't-exits. Think boy was badly injured, but survived anyhow. You get my point. But overall, I like the movie simply because I like happy endings. Haha.

My official last day of school.
