Been dying to get an iphone. I know almost everyone who brushes their shoulders against mine, owns the perfect beauty in their pocket. The feeling to stay connected every second is so humongous and empowering that I am starting to feel repulsive. Oh man, how can I allow the trend to lead me by my nose? I think the craze for iphone 3gs will eventually die down when some other genius create another gem which stirs another round of curiosity. Singaporeans are always curious because we are kay poh. Think about the transition from telephone, to pager, to bulky black mobile phones, to poly ringtones, to colour phones, to camera phones, to music player phones, to Wi-Fi and everything else. This is just another passing phase of our lives. It won't last forever.

It's just like how when everyone rides a scooter, you want one for yourself too. When everyone rebonded their hair, you want yours to be straight too. When everyone permed theirs, you want yours curled too. When everyone uses Chanel compact foundation, you want one too. (Self-note. PFTTTT.) When everyone blinged their camera/phone/laptop, you want to bling yours too. When everyone rave about Wonder Girls, you learnt their dance steps. You get the gist.

So Serene Heng, GET OVER IT.

Not as if I have the means to own one anyways. ($#^*%@ -.- My current mobile telephone plan cost me $31 per month. Getting an iphone means I would have to pay over $40 monthly due to the additional data charges, which I think is EXPENSIVE as an overall lump sum to pay. Beside I don't have $500 in my bank now to get the phone. Hurhurhur...And Baobe Teo, don't you dare to buy the phone for me. *eyes big big and stares hard at Baobe* The hike in phone bills will take another toll on me. So, no okay.

I am supposed to get my bursary grant factored into my semester 2 bill. However, the fee deduction date is drawing near but I don't see a change in the $3.1k calculation. I hope the financial aid department can help me settle this soon! =( I did a quick math and found out that I have approximately $200 odd left as saving after the deduction. =~( Even if i clear my school fees successfully, I still need to pay for my phone bills and 2 set of insurances!

Chinese New Year please come soon... I need the ang pows. =( I don't want to be in debt.

While my bank account is nearing zero, I know I own so much more things that money can't buy. Family, love and happiness. =) I am not poor.
