Today, my emotions took on a roller-coaster ride. It wasn't the hormonal changes inside my body that trigger off my sensors. It was the unexpected events that occurred back to back, one after another, that made me feel confused, angry, lost, happy, sad, satisfied all in one day.

The confrontation between fishhead and I was rather short, but the event itself was fierce enough to stir up the first three different emotions. Nonetheless, I was glad that I managed to see the big picture and let it go. Fishhead shall always remain as a head, never a complete fish.

Today, I made up my mind to be absent from school. Not because I was lazy( actually I was. I am just saying to make myself feel better), but I had a more important mission that required me to stay put. Daddy Heng needs helper. Preparing a buffet for 100 heads isn't a joke. The huge quantity of ingredients needed is tall enough to drown me. Mummy Heng has to take care of my little princess and prince. So it's just left with me, the extra pair of hands which daddy can use some help with.

He didn't ask or request for me to skip school and help him. In fact, he wanted me to attend school. But I felt I would want to lessen his workload a little, even if what I could do weren't significant enough. I just don't want to Daddy Heng to tire himself out.

My job was quite simple. Of course, he couldn't depend on his little girl to cook. So, I was given easy tasks like buying ingredients(peas, corns and carrots), packing and labeling the food etc, clearing up the area after he is done. Miscellaneous stuffs in other words. Other than that, I was talking to him, complaining about fishhead. Haha.

When I went down to the market to buy the ingredients, I saw an old granny sitting by the roadside chair, plucking the roots of some vegetables. An aunty, carrying a cute baby in her arms, approached the granny and chatted with her. The granny sounded really happy and cheerful when she saw the baby. I continued walking, smiling to myself. Life, is a continuous, never-ending journey. As one ages and dies, a new life is created to fill up the empty place. As if there is a status quo to maintain, as if life is a game.

I didn't really help much at the end of the day though, but Daddy was really appreciative. He kept thanking me non-stop. Haha. It reminded me of those younger days when he would use diff languages and dialect to thank me.

I swept the floor, and Daddy laughed at the way I held the broom when I was squatting down, sweeping the dust onto a plastic container.

"You hold the broom like you're holding a pen."

Haha =)

I could understand why Mummy Heng fell in love with Daddy Heng. Not only does he has what it takes to be a top chef, Daddy Heng looked absolutely dashing, extremely masculine when he was cooking. He took over the whole kitchen, completely in control while he cooked. He knew exactly where everything was stored and where to retrieve them. It was as if he was dancing while he executed the series of experienced moves in a steadily, calm order. I was totally impressed and in awed. I am so proud of you Daddy Heng. =)

There were some funny miscommunication between Baobe Teo and I when we chatted just now. I asked him what was he doing and he replied 娛樂百分百 in a x10 the normal speed of talking. Unfortunately, what I heard was ''eat the butterfly." HAHAHA!

Then he asked a question that has to do with choosing between credit card or paypal. I said paypal. But Baobe heard ''Fei Biao''(darts) instead.

It's a good day afterall. Im going to buy shoes with Mummy Heng later. I love you Daddy Heng. I love you Mummy Heng!

Not to forget: Happy 3rd month my little princess and prince =) Muack muack you both.
